Privacy Policy

Your Wellbeing, healthcare and privacy are important to us. We will respect your privacy and will contact you outside of practice consultations only for feedback, confirmation of appointments, and clinically indicated scenarios (such as test results). The mode of contact may be through phone, SMS, or email as per your provision during the initial engagement with the practice.

We are bound and comply to the strict privacy standards of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). This involves procedures such as the limiting of possible identifying information and data to only relevant personnel clinically required, as well as proper storage and encryption of your information.

To protect your privacy, provision of full medical records may only be obtained by the patient via a written request. This includes requests to transfer records to another clinic, legal requests, and work-related requests. These requests will be tended to within 28 days and may involve a fee. Forms are available upon request.

Transfer of clinically records and data to hospitals and clinicians pertinent to your care will require the same process, unless in a clinical emergency.

Should you have any concerns or questions, such as your preferred method of external contact, please speak to one of our friendly staff.
